Al Politano

Al, the leader of The Alberts, writes, arranges and  plays lead guitar for the band.  Al grew up listening to The Ventures, The Shadows, The Chantays, The Safaris, and The Atlantic’s among other guitar-driven bands from the 1960s. Al has over 50 years of experience performing as lead guitarist in many rock, and country bands and has had a solo and jazz guitar career as well. He has published four guitar books and has recorded a solo CD of his original music “Standing In the Rain.” He earned his BA in Music Education from CSUF and has taught both publicly and privately.

Roger French

Born and raised in Southern California, Roger has played piano and studied music since the mid 1950s and has performed with many rock and country bands over the years. Roger and Al have played together in various bands since the 1960s. When not playing piano with The Alberts, you can find Roger running his  electrical engineering company, piloting his airplane or speedboat, driving vintage cars, or motoring down the road on his Harley.

Matt Politano

Matt provides the drive and heartbeat as drummer for The Alberts. He is also one of the most talented and well respected jazz pianists today. Matt has recorded extensively and toured both nationally and internationally. He attended the University of North Texas, where he played jazz trumpet in the One O'clock Band, and later studied music at Manhattan School of Music in New York City. In addition to performing, Matt composes, arranges, plays guitar, sings, and teaches.

 

Nick Schaadt

Nick grew up in Long Beach California listening to The Beatles and The Beach Boys.  There was a piano in the house and a guitar surfaced from the garage rafters when he was 11.  At 13, he bought a 1969 Silvertone electric bass at a yard sale for ten dollars.  Nick received his Master's in Music from California State University Fullerton, with an emphasis in Commercial Music.  His experience includes national and international touring, extensive recording in major recording studios, and credits in television and film.
